Dr. Jerod has handled pre and post surgical cases of many professional athletes in conjunction with designing training programs to enhance performance and rehabilitate injuries. This work has lead Dr. Jerod to pursue years of study in nutrition and athletic fitness and performance.

As a professional, Dr. Jerod holds a Bachelor of Science in Human Biology, and a Doctorate in Chiropractic Medicine. He is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist, a Certified Speed, Quickness, and Agility Trainer, a Nutrition Response Testing Practitioner, and has trained in Nutritional Counseling.

Dr. Hansen is originally from Washington Island, a small community in Door County, WI. His father worked as an insurance agent and his mother was a second grade school teacher. He chose to become a chiropractor after suffering a spinal injury riding on a “chicken bus” while he was a Peace Corps volunteer in Guatemala. After returning to the U.S., Dr. Hansen visited an excellent chiropractor and received his very first adjustment.
